Get Juiced ~ Heart-Healthy and Liver Loving Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized beetroot
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1/2 medium-sized apple
  • 1/2 inch ginger root
  • 1/2 lemon 
  • Handful of kale or spinach (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash all the ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Cut the beetroots, carrots, and apple into small chunks so that they fit in the juicer’s chute.
  3. Remove the skin from the lemon (or orange) and cut it in half. 
  4. If you’re using spinach or kale, add it to the juicer first.
  5. Next add beetroot, carrot, apple and lemon. 
  6. Stir the juice well to ensure all flavors are mixed evenly.
  7. Pour the juice into a glass and enjoy immediately for maximum      freshness and nutrition.
