On a positive note:
- I lost 30 pounds (which ultimately led to a total weight loss of 140 pounds, more than half my body weight) and it never felt like a diet!
- I did a full body reset and overcame my food addictions.
- I no longer crave unhealthy foods.
- I discovered that sweets taste so sweet, I can no longer stomach them the way I used to.
- I stopped eating pre-packaged and boxed foods completely.
- I stopped drinking alcohol.
- I drink more water.
- My taste buds changed significantly.
- I learned how to listen to my body and give it the fuel it needs to thrive.
- My body started craving fresh whole foods.
- The texture and tone of my skin improved and I haven’t had a zit since.
- My hair and nails started to grow thicker and faster.
- I started a chain reaction of positive things that have been happening in my life ever since.
- I was compelled to move my body more, and went from despising exercise and not working out at all to working out and looking forward to it every single day.
- I learned how to make exercise fun.
- I essentially reinvented myself through healthier eating and moving my body more.
- I am happier and lighter (both in my body, my mind, and in my “whole being”).
- I stopped thinking about food so much and stopped worrying about dieting, counting calories and measuring every bite that went into my mouth.
- I have more energy now than I ever felt possible.

- I started to learn a different but delicious way of cooking and ordering food when out.
On a not so positive note:
During the 21 days (while I was detoxing) I had withdrawal symptoms. I was tired, dizzy, nauseated and I was easily irritated, but all that went away.
The journey to a healthier, happier you is so worth it. I know—because I lived it.
I stopped chasing skinny and started focusing on my health—and that single shift changed everything. As I mentioned, I ultimately lost 140 pounds, but more importantly, I found clarity, energy, and a life that finally feels like mine. I share the whole story in my book.
