Starting a health and weight loss journey is no small feat. It's a journey filled with challenges, some serious self-discovery, and the goal of changing your health and your life for the better. I've been where you are, and I'm here to tell you that if I can make this journey, you absolutely can too!
Why do I say that? Because I've walked that bumpy road. I've tried every diet under the sun, with mixed results. I couldn't sustain my weight loss, and one day, I hit rock bottom and had a harsh awakening when a medical issue became my wake up call. A medical condition that could have been avoided. I looked in the mirror and asked myself, "How did this happen to me?" I weighed a staggering 270 pounds, and my unhealthy habits had taken a toll on my health, landing me in the hospital for surgery.
The answer to the question "How did this happen to me?" took years to unravel. I was so ashamed of myself. If only I had taken better care of myself and listened to my body! But as I reflect back, I see that every twist and turn in my life led me to that pivotal moment when I finally recognized it was time for change. I knew it wouldn't be easy, and not everyone would understand, but it was time to take responsibility and find my way home...to reclaim my health. What could have been the end of me turned into a new beginning, ultimately losing over 140 pounds and rediscovering myself! And I've kept the weight off for a decade! I can honestly say my medical issue, was blessing in disguise. So what's the secret? What's the magic potion that helped me lose the weight, get healthy and keep the weight off for a decade?
Getting healthy and losing weight is a profoundly personal journey and took years of research and experimentation to find what worked for me I and my body. It wasn't easy, but my goal is to make it easier for you. You are unique, and you know what is best for you and your body, but you have to listen and you have to be open to achieve lasting success. I'm here to offer guidance and recommendations, from someone who's been there.
I started this website, I developed a course and I'm currently writing a book to share my story with you so you don't have to hit rock bottom before you make lasting changes in your health and life. I consider this website my "home base" but you can also find me on YouTube, Instagram and Pintrest (my handles on those platforms are noted below).
This awakening of my body, reclaiming my health, shedding 140 pounds, and finding my authentic self is much more than just a weight loss story. What began as a quest to get healthy and transform my body became a multi-dimensional journey encompassing mind, body, and soul. It helped me find my way back to myself. Not only did I shed physical weight but I also got rid of some emotional weight, enabling me to really hear my body and reclaim my authenticity, something I had ignored and suppressed for years.
Encouraged by a very special friend to tell my story, I've inspired others to achieve their breakthroughs in health and weight loss by sharing my story , my expertise, and supporting their unique journeys. They improved their health, lost weight, and found motivation, inspiration and success!
Many have asked me why the name "Noble Alchemy"? I chose this name because I wanted something that would convey the idea of combining or transforming various elements (of mind, body and spirit) in a way that is dignified, honorable and sustaining. Something that suggests a process of elevation or awakening, involving the pursuit of positive transformation that aligns with noble principles. And I didn’t like the sound of Noble Transformation, or Noble Awakening, so Noble Alchemy it is.
