And that photo you see at The top of this page? That’s mine. It’s the visible proof of a much deeper journey—one that started when I hit rock bottom and had to make a choice: stay stuck or fight my way back.
I weighed 270 pounds. I tried every diet out there—some worked for a while, most didn’t. Eventually, a preventable medical issue landed me in the hospital. That was my wake-up call. I remember staring at myself in the mirror one day and wondering, How did this happen to me? I now realize it happened FOR me.
But at the time, I felt shame, the frustration, the self-blame. Deeply. But what I discovered, changed everything.
Over time, I lost 140 pounds and kept it off for over a decade. But more than that, I found clarity, strength, and I rediscovered myself. This wasn’t just physical weight—it was emotional, too. I didn’t just change how I looked. I changed how I lived.
Not to say “Look at me,” but to say “You can do this too.”
My story is an example of what’s possible. And now it’s your turn.
